This year The Telegraph School Awards for Excellence 2018 was held in two parts. The first part was held on Saturday 18 August 2018 at South City International School and the second part was held at the Science City Auditorium on Saturday 25 August 2018.

1) Mohammed Valpurawala was presented The Award for Courage at the South City International School.

2) Khatib Ur Rahman was presented The Award for Courage at the Science City Auditorium.

The student’s mother suffers from kidney failure and requires regular dialysis. As a result, the student everyday performs all the household duties, including cooking, and then comes to school.

3) Mr Baktiyar Shahid & Mrs Safia Razi – Parents of Abdur Rahman Moosa – were given the Abhirup Bhadra Memorial “Thank you Baba-Ma” Award at South City International School.
