Saifee Golden Jubilee School participated in the Kolkata Youth Summit on Climate Change where it won the trophy in the “Article Writing” contest.

Organised by St Xavier’s University (Autonomous), the event saw the participation of over 4500 students from 85 English and Bengali medium schools.

Over 90 posters and 150 articles had been written to highlight the perils of climate change.

42 students of Saifee Golden Jubilee School participated in the event. The details of the school’s contribution is as follows:

– 2 posters made by girls of Class 11
– 2 pairs of students of Class 11 A contributed 1 article each
– Article 1 was written by Najmul Mustafa and Md Kaif Raza
– Article 2 was written by Imaduddin Haider and Zeedan Mohsin
