Hues – Art Exhibition at Saifee Golden Jubilee School
Hues – the annual art exhibition at Saifee Golden Jubilee School – was a huge success his year. Held in the school auditorium on 24 Jan 2019, the theme of the exhibition was protecting nature and birds.
The Chief Guest of the event was Mr Bruce Bucknell, The Deputy High Commissioner of Britain. He was very impressed with the theme and the quality of the exhibits. The judge for the event was Mr Swapan Kumar Mullik, Professor at the Indian College of Draftsmanship. The Professor described the quality of the students’ work in a single word – “excellent”.
The event was also graced by some special guests – Ms Shabina Omar (Assistant professor at Milli college), Ms Farha Khan (Social worker), Ms Monika Vincent (Principal of Ling Lang School – Hide Rd), and Mr Murad Mahmood (President of the school’s alumni).
The school was fortunate to have the students and art teachers of St Joseph and Mary School (New Alipore) and Jewish Girls School visit the event.
Congratulations to all the students of the school who participated in the exhibition and thanks to all the parents for their constant support.
